Retirement planning

The flagship advice path into RetireMe modelling — from retirement vision through Monte Carlo–backed SOA and ongoing monitoring.

7 stages

This is the same platform journey available under Your organisation’s templates in the adviser portal. Firms clone it, then tailor stages and document artefacts.

  1. Retirement goals — Target age, lifestyle, location, income, and legacy goals that shape modelling assumptions.
  2. Assets, income & debt — Fact find across KiwiSaver, investments, property, debt, and income — skip when onboarding already completed it.
  3. Modelling in RetireMe — Build drawdown strategy, NZ Super, and scenarios for market and longevity risk; save a plan snapshot.
  4. Risk profile — Confirm investments and drawdown match tolerance and capacity; reuse a current profile when valid.
  5. Advice presentation — Present plan and recommendations in an SOA and review meeting.
  6. Implementation — Fund switches, contribution changes, and drawdown setup as agreed.
  7. Monitoring & annual review setup — Schedule the first annual review and close the matter into ongoing service.

How it connects

Stages can link fact-find forms, vault documents, mail-merge SOA artefacts, tasks, and client portal share/accept/sign actions. Matters appear on the Advice Pipeline by template stage.

Adviser tip: Clone the platform template into your firm, then reshape stages, artefacts, and tasks so the Advice Pipeline matches how you already deliver advice.
